Lennar Mortgage to Attend Digital Mortgage 2019 Conference
The Digital Mortgage Conference will take place this year in Las Vegas on September 23-24. This is a yearly conference hosted by National Mortgage News and SourceMedia and is attended by real estate and mortgage professionals to discuss and learn new ideas and strategies on digital mortgage innovation and technology advancements for the mortgage industry.
The conference features keynote speakers, panels, and live demos. Attendees will learn from top mortgage lenders, including Lennar Mortgage, a Lennar subsidiary, regarding their implementation of marketing, strategy and customer experience.
Opening Keynote
Stuart Miller, Executive Chairman of Lennar, will give this year’s opening keynote. Stuart began at Lennar in 1982, after completing a degree at the University of Miami Law School. He was the President of Lennar from 1991 to 1997 and became CEO of Lennar in 1997. He rose to his current role of Executive Chairman in April 2018.
Women in Mortgage Tech Forum
This year, the conference features a Women in Mortgage Tech Forum to allow women in mortgage to collaborate and inspire. Laura Escobar, President of Lennar Mortgage, will be the keynote speaker for the Women in Mortgage Tech Forum. Laura is a 30-year industry veteran. She held leadership positions with both bank-owned and independent mortgage companies overseeing all aspects of mortgage banking. She joined Lennar Mortage in 2002 as Branch Manager; in 2004 was promoted to Senior Vice President managing the Eastern Region; and in 2016, became Executive Vice President overseeing operations and production of the Builder Division. Laura was named President in 2018.
Digital Mortgage Adoption
Discussions and panels at the conference will cover topics on emerging tech, marketing, strategy, electronic closing, data and borrower experience. Yianni Garcia, Vice President of Marketing and Innovation at Lennar Mortgage, will speak on the topic of Marketing and Achieving 100% Digital Mortgage Adoption. In his presentation, Yianni will share strategies to encourage and quickly implement digital mortgage adoption by associates and integrate technological innovation into company culture.
