Position Summary:
Provide mortgage training and system training on all aspects of retail production.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively in-person, via telephone and via webinar in order to train production associates on our Loan Origination System, Products and Procedures.
Provide feedback and recommendations to management on training solutions.
Develop current training materials in line with industry and investor changes.
Provide assistance to production as needed.
Conduct training webinars as needed on various sales topics
Remain current with our internal and external Products and keep production current with changes in investor and agency guidelines.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Minimum of two years history of successfully originating mortgage loans at Lennar Mortgage Home Mortgage.
Group and individual presentation skills, superior oral and written communication skills, Microsoft Office Suite proficiency including PowerPoint.
Good working knowledge of Destiny, Blitzdocs, Marketing applications and online mortgage application software.
Ability to study independently
Attention to detail
Knowledge of office procedures
Current knowledge of closing and title requirements
Current knowledge of automated underwriting systems
Current knowledge of FHLMC/FNMA/FHA/VA and industry underwriting guidelines
Current knowledge of self-employed borrowers, partnership and corporation tax return analysis.
Strong computer background with 2 to 3 years experience in mortgage software and working knowledge of Word for Windows and Excel.
Contacts:
Regular interaction with all mortgage associates, investors, FHA and VA.
Additional Requirements:
Requires the ability to operate a personal computer, fax machine, copier, climb stairs, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move, and carry materials and supplies weighing 20 pounds or less. Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard.
